Parkhotel Mondschein in Bolzano combines mid-century design, a focus on wellbeing and a palm-filled park at the foot of the mountains. Its Luna Bar brings hotel guests and locals together for drinks in a setting that feels both Alpine and Mediterranean.
In spring 2026, we were invited to play a guest set for the hotel’s DJ’n’Drinks series, bringing together holiday guests and locals over afternoon and evening drinks. The brief called for a careful balance: music that added to the hotel’s programme while leaving guests room to relax and enjoy their own conversations. We selected reggae, Brazilian and Caribbean music alongside jazz, funk, soul, Afrobeat and highlife. The selection reflected the park’s Mediterranean feel, becoming livelier towards evening while keeping the atmosphere easy and sociable.
We called the recording “Aperol Spritz in the Park”: a set for listening, conversation and a little more energy with the next round of drinks.
