Villa Arnica is an adults-only design hotel in a restored 1920s villa in Lana, South Tyrol. Architecture, interiors and communication all follow the same high standard, and music is part of it: the house hosts its own series of listening sessions.
In 2026, we were invited to play at Villa Arnica. The ticketed evening drew a discerning, design-minded audience, so we chose sophisticated music that rewards close listening but still leaves room for conversation and a good glass of wine: a two-hour set of jazz, library music, folk and ambient.
We played in the villa’s main salon: rustic yet carefully designed, with dimmed light, designer seating and a high-end sound system. It felt like a coffeehouse, only more focused, and with more wine than coffee.
